Application Spotlight |
Monoclonal antibody production method comparison |
As regulations for cell line development become increasingly stringent, researchers will be required to perform single-cell cloning and provide evidence that a cell line is derived from a single cell. Until recently, there were two main methods to prove monoclonality: limiting dilution and flow cytometry.
Here, we cloned two CHO cell lines with animal-component-free cell culture media and supplements, and compared the performance of the CloneSelect™ Single-Cell Printer™ f.sight™ versus limiting dilution and flow cytometry. |
