Greg Milosevich


Greg was appointed President of Molecular Devices in January 2015 and has been with the firm since April of 2006. From January 2013 until December 2014, Greg was the Vice President & General Manager for Global Commercial Operations and from 2010 through 2012 he served as Vice President & General Manager for Western Markets. From 2007 thru 2010, he served as Vice President of Sales and Service, Americas after joining Molecular Devices in 2006 as the Vice President of Sales and Service for Emerging Markets. Previously, Greg was Vice President of Global Sales & Service at Arcturus Bioscience, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Alpha Innotech Corporation and US Sales Manager at Ultra Violet Products. Greg holds a BS in Physics, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Puget Sound.

Martyn Ansell

Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance

Martyn joined Molecular Devices in June 2012 as Vice President, Finance.  Prior to joining Molecular Devices he was Chief Financial Officer of Vistec Semiconductor Systems, a global leader in the development and manufacture of electron-beam lithography equipment for the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Vistec, Martyn spent over 12 years at Applied Materials, a manufacturer of semiconductor equipment, where he held a number of senior financial management positions in business development and within several product divisions. In addition, he has held positions at Coopers & Lybrand, in San Jose, California and Ernst & Young in the U.K. Martyn received a BA in Accounting and Finance with Honors from the Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, England and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Martin Verhoef

Vice President, Strategy and Marketing

Martin joined Molecular Devices in August 2013. Over the prior 10 years Martin held President and CEO positions in start-ups including Ciphergen BioSystems, PrimeraDx, MiraDx and Applied BioCode.  Previously he held leadership roles in sales, marketing and R&D with Agilent and Pharmacia. Martin holds a double BS in Clinical and Analytical Chemistry from the van‘t Hoff Institute, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Vice President, Product Development

Josef  joined Molecular Devices in February 2002 and was appointed Vice President of Product Development in August of 2015. Prior to his current role, he was the Site Manager for Molecular Devices’ Salzburg, Austria office.  Josef has held multiple technical leadership and General Manager roles in companies like Beckman Coulter and Tecan. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Höhere Technische Lehranstalt Salzburg,  Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University Vienna and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Danube University in Krems, Austria.

Dean Ding

Dean Ding

Vice President, Global Operations

Dean joined Molecular Devices in June 2010 and was appointed Vice President of Global Operations in Apr.2017. Prior to his current role, he was the General Manager of Molecular Devices’ Shanghai, China plant. Dean has held multiple manufacturing leadership and General Manager roles in companies like General Electric, PerkinElmer, Donaldson and Siemens. He holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from East China University of Science & Technology, and a Master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from National University of Singapore.

Susan Murphy

Vice President, Western Markets

As Vice President of Sales, Western Markets, Susan is responsible for Molecular Devices business in North America, Europe and Brazil. She joined Molecular Devices in 2002 and held positions in both the Life Science and Drug Discovery Sales Organizations. She moved into Sales Management in 2007, progressing through a series of sales management roles with increasing commercial responsibility. Prior to Molecular Devices, Susan worked at PerkinElmer and Packard BioSciences. She also held multiple research positions at: Penn State Medical School, University of Chicago, Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratories, and Lake Forest College. Susan graduated with a BA in Biology from Lake Forest College, IL and completed graduate coursework at University of Illinois at Chicago in the Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology Program.  

Poonam Taneja, Ph.D.

Vice President, Japan, Korea, India, Global Distribution

Poonam started in her current role in July 2010. From 2006 to 2010, Poonam held the position of Director, Global Distribution and was responsible for the company’s business in India, South East Asia, Middle East, Russia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Poonam’s previous positions include Director of International Sales at Arcturus Bioscience and Alpha Innotech Corporation. Previously, Poonam held research positions in Italy, Germany and the US in molecular and cellular biology. Poonam holds a Doctorate in Chemistry from Delhi University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.  

Jennifer Marasco

Vice President, Human Resources

Jennifer joined Molecular Devices in March 2017. Jennifer began her career with Danaher at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in 2014 as the Sr. Manager, Human Resources and was promoted to Director, Human Resources in 2015, where she supported a number of global functional groups in her two roles. Jennifer has over 20 years of Human Resources experience and has held leadership positions at Parker Aerospace, IDS Group and Henkel Corporation prior to joining Beckman. Jennifer holds a B.A. degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix

Tony Jiang

Vice President and General Manager, Greater China Commercial Operations

Tony joined Molecular Devices in his current role in July 2013. From 2012 to 2013, he served as Head of the Applied Science Division of Roche Diagnostic China.  From 2009 to 2012, he was the National Sales Manager of Illumina China. Previously he held senior sales and commercial leadership positions at Beckman Coulter Life Science in China and Australia. Before that, Tony worked in sales for HSBC, Samsung and Applied Biosystems. Tony holds a Master of Technology Management in Biotechnology from the University of New South Wales, an MBA from Southern Cross University, Australia, and a BS degree in Biochemistry from East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai.

John Olson

Vice President and Global Danaher Business Systems Leader

John started his current position in April 2013. From 2010 to 2013, he was Director of Manufacturing for the company’s US and Europe plants. Prior to this, John held multiple positions in Operations, running all aspects of both reagent and instrument operations in the US, China and Europe. John joined Molecular Devices in 1986 in R&D, helping develop the Threshold assay system as well as other assays and instruments. Prior to Molecular Devices, John worked in the Research and Development departments at Syva, the diagnostic arm of Syntex Corporation. John graduated with a BA from UC Santa Cruz with a double major in biology (with honors) and chemistry.
